2023 and 2024 were the most trying years we have ever had in the Grace Hill Vineyard. Between a late frost in 2023 and a microburst/hail storm in 2024, we lost about 85% of our crop each year. We brought in grapes from Clarksburg, California, which we crushed, fermented, and aged here at Grace Hill. This Syrah was aged in second use oak barrels for 8 months, and bursts with dark fruit flavors, rich tannins, and represents a new frontier for us here at Grace Hill that we can’t wait to explore!
