Tasting Room Manager

Grace Hill Winery is seeking a full-time Tasting Room Manager to lead our guest experience, tasting room team, wine club engagement, and on-site events.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys hospitality, sales, team development, and creating memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate is an organized, energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with customers and staff.

Typical schedule is Thursday through Monday and includes weekends, evenings, and special events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage tasting room staff

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members

  • Create employee schedules and manage staffing needs

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience every day

  • Oversee tasting room operations, inventory, and merchandise

  • Support and grow the winery's wine club program

  • Coordinate and execute winery events and private functions

  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

  • Handle customer service issues professionally and effectively

  • Work closely with ownership to improve operations and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Previous management or supervisory experience

  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working weekends, evenings, and special events

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, brewery, winery, country club, or event management experience

  • Sales experience

  • Wine knowledge or wine certifications (not required)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $50,000–$65,000, depending on experience
