Join us for a rocking good time at our first outdoor concert of the year! Local band Off The Tracks will be set up in the courtyard in front of the vineyard (or inside the event center should the weather not cooperate) and take the stage at 6:00 to help get your weekend off to the proper start!
Uno Mas Food Truck will start food service at 5:30pm to fill your belly with the finest Mexican cuisine this side of the Whitewater River. And of course we will have a bar set up stocked with Grace Hill Wines, Sangria, Beer, and Wine Slushies for all your adult beverage needs.
Admission is $10 per carload and is payable at the door, meaning no need to make reservations ahead of time. The $10 per carload is admission to the event and does not include any food or drinks.
We will have tables and chairs for about 140 people available, but if the weather is nice we expect a pretty good turnout, meaning if you have a favorite lawn chair that fits you just right, please bring it along!
All ages are welcome. The only thing we ask that you don't bring is outside food or alcohol. Cheers!
During the concert we will be doing a raffle to raise funds for the medical treatment of a young boy who is a student of one of our tasting room staffers who is a teacher during the week. Here's his story:
Andrew Ewertz is a typical kid. Typical, other than the fact that he suffered headaches that were so persistent, they induced vomiting. Trusting her maternal instinct, his mother got doctors involved immediately. After being seen, an MRI revealed that Andrew had a tumor resting on his cerebellum. At this point Andrew was air-lifted to Children's Mercy in Kansas City and the tumor was removed and identified as a medulloblastoma. Medulloblastoma is a posterior fosso- this type of tumor tends to spread to other parts of the brain and spinal chord. He is currently receiving treatment at St. Jude's in Memphis, TN. We are all hoping for a strong recovery.
